I love fics about the different ways Sarek and Amanda could have gotten together! I have absolutely no idea what current canon says about their backstory, so I'm happy for you to ignore all that in favor of your own ideas. Pretend you're a fan writing decades ago if you want! Alternatively, you are welcome to write something canon-compliant that fits what I'm interested in as long as I can enjoy it without having to be familiar with the newer shows!
